Author SEIKO FUJITA(SAIKO FUJITA, born in 1899) He is a last heir of Koga-Ryu Ninjutiu. So he has been called The last Ninja in JAPAN.He was a real NINJA.In this book, he explains how to throw(use) shuriken and the history, schools of it concretely and in detail. Publication Year 1993(Reprinted Edition)
This book would be one of must-have items together with Shuriken by kanji Naruse if you are interested in Shuriken.Both books may be called Classic Famous Books on Shuriken.
Seiko Fujita and Kanji Naruse have a great influence on Ikuken Shiragami,who is Soke of Ikuken-ryu Shuriken jutsu.
He has been called Last Koga-Ryu Ninja in JAPAN.In general,Ninja is well versed in many Martial arts like Masaaki Hatsumi.It is natural that he has publised many martial arts book like this one.
This book came with 3 other books that made 4 volume set ,entitled Seiko Fujita Chosakushu.

Shuriken (手裏剣; lit: "hand hidden blade") is a traditional Japanese concealed weapon that was used for throwing, and sometimes stabbing. They are small, sharpened, hand-held blades made from a variety of everyday items, such as needles, nails, and knives, as well as coins, washers and other flat plates of metal. Shuriken were mainly a supplemental weapon to the more commonly used katana (sword) or yari (spear) in a warrior's arsenal, though they often played a pivotal tactical role in battle. The art of wielding the shuriken is known as shuriken-jutsu, and was mainly taught as a minor, or more correctly, a secret part of the martial arts curriculum of many famous schools, such as Yagyu Ryu, Katori Shinto Ryu, Itto Ryu, Kukishin Ryu and Togakure Ryu.
As title says,it has a lot of illustrations throughout.So even if you don't understand Japanese,you'll enjoy this book throuhg many illustrations.
172 pages with many illustrations. Very few books on Shuriken are published even in JAPAN. If you are interested in Shuriken,this would be one of the must-have books.
【CONDITION】
This book was published 14 years ago,so slight yellowing and stains on the cover and pages. But it is in very good condition overall.
