Have you ever heard of Hoko Bukuro? This item was actually used by a Japanese soldier during World War 2. One is Hoko Bukuro, means apprenticeship bag, and another one is Guntai Techo means Military handbook. They put Guntai Techo into this Hoko Bukuro and carried around.
On the bag it says Contents -Guntai Techo, crests, letters from military office, call-up papers, saving passbooks and so on. They put all the stuffs in this bag. Guntai Techo shows sentences that keep patriotic feeling, personal records of practice and so on. On the record pages there are handwritings.
