Kokufu Bonsai Kai,which is predecessor of Nippon Bonsai Association,was established in 1934.In the year, First Kokufu Bonsai Exhibition took place.In 1965,Kokufu Bonsai Kai was dissolved with the establishment of Nippon Bonsai Association.The First President of Kokufu Bonsai Kai was Matsudaira.Also his book was published by Nippon Bonsai Association.
This book was published as a pamphlet for exhibition commemorating Yoshida Shigeru.He was a first president of Nippon Bonsai Association.
Shigeru Yoshida September 22, 1878–October 20, 1967,
was a Japanese diplomat and politician who served as Prime Minister of Japan
from 1946 to 1947 and from 1948 to 1954.
His policies, emphasizing Japan's economic recovery and a reliance
on United States military protection at the expense of independence
in foreign affairs, became known as the Yoshida Doctrine and shaped
Japanese foreign policy during the Cold War era and beyond.
