These kimonos just seem to just made today because of love from those who have preserved these and because of the high artistic value. There are some kimono for brides, formal occations, Furisode (long sleeved kimono) and so on. Those are made with designs that imply something and with various colors'...
And in the other afterword it says to see these kimono again will be impossible for people and this collection is very valuable.
All kimono in this item are exquisite and wonderful. They are from Meiji to Showa 40's (around 19c-1970's).
Even if you don't understand Japanese, you will enjoy this book through many photos and illustratons.
