As you know,"first"Kokufu bonsai exhibition,which is the greatest and most famous bonsai exhibition both in Japan and in the world,was held in showa 9(in 1934). This book was published in the same year. I have first book of Kokufu bonsai exhibition now and am selling it on my shop. Compared this book with first book of kokufu bonsai exhibition,you'll understand how deluxe and gorgeous this book is! This kind of book is called Tenkin bon here in japan and most of them are deluxe edition.'Ten' means 'upper part of a book''Kin' means 'gold'. In my opinion,this book is more scarce than Kokufu bonsai exhibition early volumes.
