This book is becoming hard-to-come by here in Japan.
As you know,this book is not only sought-after but also hard-to-find along with Sengoku Ninpo Zukan.(so-called green book)
I have often received the question'Do you have Togakure-Ryu ninpo Taijutu or Sengoku Ninpo Zukan by Masaaki Hatsumi?'
In my opinion,this book is more scarce than sengoku ninpo zukan(so-called green book) in Japan.It is due to the fact that it had a small circulation.Needless to say,it is an extremely rare item even in Japan!
In the preface of this book,Masaaki Hatsumi,who is one of the most famous and respected experts on Martial arts,says"I have firmly belived that the secret of martial arts shouldn't be opened to the public.However,there are a lot of differences between the martial arts I have learned and modern martial arts ,so I have published this book.This is my first book on martial arts".
"In this book I have opened the secrets of BUDO and my secret techniques. It means 'with a do-or-die attitude'.I want you to know this attitude.In conclusion,I hope that you will do the training through this book and live a happy life."
You'll see Masaaki Hatsumi do hard training with Takamatsu sensei in the below photos.
Hardcover(clothcover) with slipcase.approx 267pages.It contains many B&W photos.So even if you don't understand Japanese,you'll enjoy this book through mnay photos.
If you are interested in Japanese Martial arts,this book would be a great collection for you!
CONDITION
This book was published 28 years ago ,so slight yellowing and stains on the cover and pages.But it is in excellent condition overall.
